On Tuesday, May 12, 2026, IRMA and the Illinois Manufacturers’ Association will once again host Business Day in Springfield.

Join us for the largest gathering of employers at the Capitol! Business Day is your chance to speak face-to-face with lawmakers about legislation impacting retail.

Don’t miss the legendary Party Under the Tent!

Business Day begins with a luncheon and keynote address.  As always, the day will end with an evening that has become the “can’t miss” event in Springfield.  The Party Under the Tent rounds out the day complete with food, drink and live music. Held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., you are likely to run into members of the Assembly, Governor’s office, staff, colleagues and friends.
