CHICAGO COVID-19 IMPACT UPDATE
In order for Chicago to move to the Moderate Incidence risk level which will allow the city to open up capacity to 50% and allow gatherings of up to 100 people, it has to get below 100 new cases per day and stay there for 14 days.
The per day averages citywide as of June 29th are 161 confirmed cases, 3,620 tests completed, and 11 deaths. (based on a 7 day rolling average)
To date, there has been 52,153 confirmed cases in the City of Chicago with 2,592 confirmed deaths and a 4.4% positivity rate.

ILLINOIS COVID-19 IMPACT UPDATE
In the last 24 hours there has been 724 new confirmed cases and 23 deaths.
In the last 14 days there has been a 16% increase in COVID cases.
IDPH is reporting a total of 143,185 cases, to date, including 6,923 deaths.
The state has conducted 1,602,965 tests to-date.

REGIONAL PROGRESS REPORT
Under the Governor’s Restore Illinois plan, in order to move from Phase 3 to Phase 4, each of the four medical regions must have a surge capacity of at least 14% for hospital beds, ICU beds and ventilators. The positivity rating for the region must be under 20% for a 14-day period. Any number in red means that region has not met the capacity requirement for that category.
