As we get into the colder fall and winter months, it is important to check your air circulation systems to ensure that airflow is optimal for customers shopping, dining and working out with you in your enclosed space.  Pepper Construction has some great, practical tips to help you in this effort.  The two main takeaways are that you should be trying to pump in as much fresh air, as often as possible to your space.  Opening windows, if practical, is the best way to refresh the space.  We understand though, that for many of you, open windows is not an option.  Therefore, making simple changes like changing out the air filters according to the manufacturer’s instructions is an important part of ensuring proper air quality.  There should also be a happy medium achieved between the dampness or dryness of the air.

Of course, none of the work on your air circulation system will matter if you are not ensuring that your customers are wearing face masks appropriately and that they are maintaining sufficient physical distance.  Simple changes can go a long way in reducing the spread of COVID.  We hope that you will take some time while the seasons change to institute some common-sense measures to keep your locations as safe as possible.
